My family is wanting to begin our own beekeeping hive. We are set up to begin but we need some bees now. Do you have a bee swarm list. Do you by chance donate a hive you remove.
We have a bee box and the equipment and we would like to recieve bees from the area if possible. We are located in Castaic and are willing to come out and pick up a hive. Yet we are a bit reluctent for our first time to retrieve a hive on our own. Please contace me by e-mail if this is a possability. We are looking foward to becoming beekeepers.
I teach 1st grade in Van Nuys CA. We have had several swarms at my school and in the neighborhood and would looove to get someone in there who will not kill the honey bees. It is so senseless to kill them when they are so essential to our food chain.
Do you have bumper stickers or something I can pass out to my students and school?
